NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
there’s no difference between Lite of full version for import/export for Abaqus format. If you encounter problems, share us the model if you can. You can upload it at the bottom of this page https://www.nextfem.it/it/help-support/
NextFEM AdminKeymasterFirst of all, you have to use the version of rSpectrum included in NextFEM Designer (seek in the installation folder). The ones provided in the ‘OpenSees tools’ page is not up-to-date.
If this not solve your problem, please attach model or send it via the form at the bottom of https://www.nextfem.it/it/help-support/
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
is the model analysis for the same model running fine?January 20, 2022 at 3:14 pm in reply to: beginner question: nr of stations vs nr of elements, monodimensional beam model #4080
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello, please find answers below:
1) NextFEM Designer has a completely automatical automeshing, that occurs only for linearly variable distibuted load on beams. Stations are automatically adjusted accordingly (e.g., in Verifications, the 5 stations of an internally-meshed elements are automatically interpolated from results)
2) there’s no need to mesh beams manually, unless you want a higher a resolution in results using uniform distributed loads. In any case, see command Edit / Divide or merge.hope this helps, regards
NextFEM AdminKeymasterDear Francesco,
thanks for your appreciation.
Regarding your issue, we know there are some opening issue for users running Windows 7, mainly related to memory usage. To solve this, activate the option “Safe mode for opening” in Tools/Options/Solver tab.
Hope this helps,
regards
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
NextFEM Designer supports results from 3D OpenSees model only. However, you should be able to see the imported model if elements you used are supported. If you can share model, please send us via email.
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
of course, look into this repo: https://github.com/NextFEM/API-Python
in particular pushover_analysis_OpenSees.pyHope this helps
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
generally, this happens when rebars are not defined in the element. Add rebar to the elements by using the ad-hoc form.
NextFEM AdminKeymasterThanks for your reply. By now, the see the same email address as before. Is it supposed to change? If so, do it in the “Account” page on this site.
We tried to send you another email but we get this error from your mailbox: 554 30 Sorry, your message cannot be delivered. This mailbox is disabled (554.30)
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHello,
plastic hinges can be used only with NonLinear module. If this module is not active, hinges behave linearly.
NextFEM AdminKeymasterWe cannot reach you via email, it seems your email is not valid. please update your email address in your profile.
NextFEM AdminKeymasterWe’re opening a ticket for this, you’ll receive a mail.
NextFEM AdminKeymasterHave you updated to the last patch? 1.8 p1
NextFEM AdminKeymasterI suspect it depends on windows version (there was an issue with updates that had to do with solver interface), can you upgrade to 20H2 or 21H1?
