Participantthank you for clarification and hints, probably my previous successful running are disabled in shear deformation of beams in solver preferences.

Participanti miss to inform, switch to OpenSees solver displaying value of end_j shown as expected. Thank you.

Participantindeed, probably related to “More output stations” setting and plotted result shown all beams are always active by default (attached).

Participanti tried again by creating new model of simple plate, assign loads, mass source then running analysis. OpenSees executable from official webs seems to be failed and crash, but alternates executable provided has not. Displacement and internal force results of static and dynamic modal analysis shown properly, consistent with OOFEM solver also. Once more, thank you so much. Please add a mirror link at GitHub if possible, since another user may experience the same issue.

Participanthi, let me add to discussions. It’s commonly doing mesh refinement at high stress/force areas only, below an example.
i reproduced a model using GUI, start from node by coordinate, draw single quad element, mesh uniformly then refined. Solver being used is OpenSees, rerunning with OOFEM given identical results.

Participanthi, much thanks for given alternative distribution of OpenSees, It solved properly in static and modal dynamic analysis, displacement result in NextFEM shown as expected and consistent with OOFEM solver except in shell area force. I did not know in detail, since running single analysis of plate static analysis seems not a problem. i will try to do comparison with old versions of OpenSees also.

Participantthank you for looking further into my problem (attached input files). Installing Tcl 8.6.10 version make OpenSees works normally for static analysis of 3D frame as can be seen in example figure below. However, the problem still persists for plate models in both modal and static analysis.

Participantthanks for confirmed it should work properly also in latest version, i will continue in installation problem of Tcl versions exactly.

Participanti updated to the latest versions of IronPython, it seems the library is loaded by changing to “clr.AddReferenceToFileAndPath” commands but some error still shown as:
SystemError: The type initializer for ‘nflib.nflib’ threw an exception.

Participanti downloaded and testing the features in current version (1.9.1.0). finally it’s working now, so many thanks for support. i want to do some benchmark (even simple ones) for these three solver.
best wishes,

Participant“please note a loadcase is needed to export to ABAQUS format”
even i define some load cases, still the behavior is the same as before. on my pc’s the Abaqus input format seems it fails to created.

Participantthanks for answer regarding to Abaqus import/export features, the problem is the same no mater model type i tried to export (beam, shell or solid) using both Lite and Full versions. INP files created by NextFEM has zero size of files and contains nothing (blank) when opening by text editor.
fortunately, importing Abaqus file has no issue. also in saving the model were it succeed to open as NextFem file format (nxf)

Participantsorry, i did not read the latest e-shop. it has been separated, thank you

Participantpreviously i make a mistake using ‘send’ button, now it has been used ‘update’ buttons. my mail are active, also in yesterday i recieved an email from ‘info’ account at NextFEM for two times.
thank you. -
