meshing of simple skew plate

hi, i tried meshing of simple skew plate but not succeed. Is there any work around for this?

Hello,
skew elements cannot be divided by this tool. This is because the tool works only on regular elements.

thanks for clarification, hopefully there’s improvement in future versions. Meshing of single quadrilateral shell element (arbitrary geometry nodes) by edge division is a common task in structural modeling.

In the next patch your sample model will be supported (when quad with opposite edges are parallel) – otherwise, mesh area command should be used for complex boundaries.
