NextFEM AdminKeymasterNextFEM Designer is designed to work with Windows XP or above.
It is available for 32 and 64 bit Windows versions.
As its unique requirements, DirectX must be installed. The DirectX installer can be found here.August 4, 2015 at 4:01 pm #255parhyang

NextFEM AdminKeymasterDear parhyang,
first of all, thank you for your interest in NextFEM Designer. The screenshot you posted is not very explicative, it seems an error with the application start-up, please be sure the program is placed in a writable folder (“Desktop” or “My Documents”).
Designer needs only the .NET 4.0 Client Profile and a version of DirectX above 9.
To allow me to give you further assistance, I need the files listed in the screenshot (all in the Local\Temp folder). Are you running Windows Vista or 7? Any service pack installed?
EDIT: I verified that the error you get is due to the DirectX which has not been installed properly on your system. Please follow the link in the first post to install them.

NextFEM AdminKeymasterHi,
please try to start it as administrator. Let me know if any error appears.
Be aware that you need DirectX 9, not 11.December 25, 2015 at 7:14 pm #506Sue_k
Participantstill not starting
wich Version of DirectX 9.xx.xxx , can Version 9 co-exist with 11????
why not compatibel with latest dirctXDecember 25, 2015 at 8:21 pm #507
NextFEM AdminKeymasterThanks for your feedback.
Please try with the SlimDX End User Runtime, available at:
https://www.slimdx.org/download.phpIn general, older versions of DirectX libraries always co-exist with the newer ones.
Please let me know if it finally works, and if you’re using 32 or 64 bit version to let us improve support. -
