I build a 2d frame model and put the rSpectrum.dll in the same path. In the model’s tcl file, loadPackage rSpectrum follows the model command. Then in the end of the tcl, pFactors -file $dataDir/pFactors.out -m $numModes is put, but there is no response.
So is this the correct way to run the command pFactors?
Thank you.
Hello,
yes, this is the correct way. Please report the error you get, in order to make us able to help further.
The documentation can be found here.
Keep in mind that rSpectrum library is not covered by our support, since in some PCs it can terminates without errors due to some incompatibilities in opensees code.
yes, my system is win10 x64,and opensees is 2.5.0 x64. When I run the pFactors command, the programe is terminated without any errors. So colud you kindly suggest a proper operating environment or a example that could run this command correctly? Thank you very much.
32bit version is sometimes more stable than 64. The uncompatibilities derives from opensees code – memory allocation technique -, so there’s no safe version.
